Episode 11

Hospice care takes place in many different, and sometimes unexpected locations, as this episode shows.

For nurse Angela, it means a trip to the local prison to catch up with staff keen to ensure prisoners get the best end of life care possible, should the need arise. It turns out a little bit of humour can go a very long way!

Family is important too, and Sue is catching up with the relatives of a patient being cared for by ellenor, to make sure they are getting the right support too.

Meanwhile, children's palliative care nurse Sarah is out on the road. She's paying a visit to Finlay and his family.
