Episode 12

The team at ellenor provide wonderful end of life care for hospice patients - but they're also there to help people who are expected to overcome the condition they're being treated for.

Kay is heading out to see Stanley, who is undergoing treatment for acute lymphoblastic leaukaemia. The treatment will last 3 years but the prognosis is good, and Kay is there to support the family and maintain a sense of normality for them.

Hospice care is also green-fingered. Alison Marsden runs the 'Green Shoots' horticultural therapy group for day patients, and in addition to being at one with nature, the group have been making new friends.

Physiotherapist Andy is running his regular group, but it's got a new location, and a new recruit.

And Dr. Bee and junior sister Julie are there to help Thelma make decisions about her future living arrangements.
