Dementia end of life care: Community of Practice (CoP)

This CoP provides a highly interactive forum for practitioners working in either the fields of dementia or palliative and end of life care to share knowledge and skills, and learn from each other.

This Community of Practice is a joint venture between Dementia UK and Hospice UK and seeks to bring together practitioners and clinical leaders keen to build their skills, knowledge and confidence in providing high quality palliative and end of life care for people and their families affected by dementia.

Community of Practice Meetings

The meetings are facilitated by Dementia UK and Cat Sullivan, Senior Clinical and Quality Improvement Lead, Hospice UK. At each event we work with the Community of Practice to agree the theme for the next meeting and invite an excellent range of speakers; both experts in the field as well as colleagues from the CoP sharing their knowledge and expertise.
