Special Edition of Care After Death: Registered Nurse Verification of Expected Adult Death (RNVoEAD) guidance
The aim of this guidance is to provide a framework for the timely verification of expected adult deaths by experienced (assessed as competent), registered nurses. In direct response to the COVID-19 outbreak, and the need for clarity, Hospice UK has reviewed the 3rd Edition guidelines for RNVoEAD and created a Special Edition. (Updated 10 November 2020)

Care After Death: Guidance for staff responsible for care after death (third edition)
The care we provide to people who have died has never been more important. With restricted visiting of the dying and viewing of the deceased in hospitals, hospices and care homes, those dear to the deceased will require additional reassurance that all has been done to care for the deceased, and to maintain their dignity. This guidance is written to support the care of the deceased adult during the time of the COVID-19 pandemic.
